Pro membership costs £49 per month, discounted to £499 a year, and it buys kitchen, bathroom and bedroom installers something they've rarely had: a business education that doesn't start with an expensive mistake. That's the pitch of Every Install, a new membership and support platform founded by Mark Conacher, a former installer and installation business owner.
The platform bundles practical action guides, business learning, tools, templates, calculators, installer-led content, industry news, work opportunities, apprenticeship information and access to trusted partners into a single hub. It targets installers of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and fitted interiors — tradespeople who must price work, understand costs, protect profit, manage customers and plan projects while spending most of the week on site.
Conacher's diagnosis is blunt. "Most installers learn the business side by working it out as they go, often by getting things wrong," he said. "Every Install is there to shorten that learning curve. Some of the information and tools can make an immediate practical and financial difference."
That's an admission the industry rarely makes out loud. Fitters master joinery; the pricing spreadsheet learns itself.
What does Pro membership include?
At the core of Every Install Pro sits The Installer Business Pathway, a trilogy of courses: 90-Day Installer Reset, Control to Commercial Strength and Built to Choose. Together, according to the platform, they help installers regain control, create better structure and build towards greater choice over what comes next.
The pricing tiers split cleanly:
- Free membership: selected action guides, installer content, industry news and opportunities.
- Every Install Pro (£49/month or £499/year): the complete pathway, the wider tool and template library, planners, calculators and new material as the platform develops.
Is this the whole vision?
No — but nearly. Every Install is the first platform from Every Trade Pro, a longer-term plan to build dedicated support platforms for skilled trades. Conacher isn't pretending otherwise. "Every Trade Pro is the bigger vision, but Every Install is the work in front of us," he said. "Our full attention is on making it genuinely useful from day one and more valuable as it grows."
The immediate focus stays on the KBB installation industry.
Does it push apprenticeships?
Not quite. The platform deliberately avoids one definition of success. One installer may want better profit and more time; another may want to grow a team, get off the tools, or build a business strong enough to take on an apprentice. A dedicated apprenticeship section explains what taking one on involves and where to find specialist support.
The stated aim is narrower and, arguably, smarter: help more businesses become financially and operationally fit enough to have that choice at all.
How will the platform grow?
Every Install launches as a growing resource rather than a finished library. Installers and installation companies will be invited to share what's working, explain what they need help with and influence what gets built next. Selected specialists and organizations from across the wider industry will contribute where they can add genuine value.
"This has to be shaped with installers, not simply presented to them," Conacher said. "The point is to listen, turn real business problems into practical help, celebrate what works and keep making the platform more useful. We want to raise installers up. Stronger installation businesses can make better decisions, protect their profit, support their customers and create more opportunities. That is good for installers and good for the whole industry."
Whether a subscription platform can systematize what most fitters learn the hard way is the open question. Conacher, at least, has done the hard way himself — and priced the shortcut at £49 a month.
