Sheet-Metal Workshop Becomes Cedar-Clad House in Japan's Castle Town

Akio Isshiki Architects turned a sheet-metal craftsperson's home and workshop in Tatsuno into a 144-square-metre machiya-informed house with a cedar gate and engawa terrace.
