ISM Manufacturing PMI Holds Near Steady at 54.5% in September

ISM's Manufacturing PMI registered 54.5% in September, down 0.1 point from August, as the Prices Index jumped 6.8 points to 77.9% and new orders rose for a ninth straight month.
