Mortgage Applications Drop 2.7% as 30-Year Fixed Rate Reaches 7.50%

Mortgage application volume fell 2.7% as the 30-year fixed rate hit 7.50%. The Purchase Index dropped 4.0% to 139.3; ARMs reached their highest share since October 2025 at 10.5%.
